One Way to Rio!

I don't know if I saw it once in a movie or not, but it was one of those expressions that I used jokingly, from time to time. Here I was, standing at the ticket counter in Sao Paolo, Brasil. My turn came as I sauntered up to the counter, she looked at me with her brown eyes and her teeth, white as ivory. Her gaze ripped right through me, yes, even penetrated me, but in a very relaxed and comforting way. You know what I mean? It was clear we had connected, me and this girl, no, this beautiful young woman. Yes, the electricity hung like sparks in the air between us. I went to speak, that-- that line! What was it? Oh no! But on the outside, I was stoic. She had no idea how my heart pounded, how the adrenalin was flowing, how at any moment I would break into a cold sweat. And then, it left my lips as if to take flight on its own accord. The words I had used so many times before, those words waited and waited for the right place to be spoken and now! Now that I was here they burst forth... but again on the outside, calmness, self-control, even-keel and unfettered... the word came forth... "Get me a One-Way to Rio.". Her response, though unexepected, summed it up directly and succinctly... "I no speak english" she said... in perfect english.

It was pretty cool hanging out in Melbourne. My company sent me on two seperate trips for a total of about six weeks. They treated me like a King (I am) at the Park Hyatt. Here is the beautiful city I saw and some of the people. So come along with me as my mate, Manny and I tour about beautiful Malbourne Australia! Now here's how it worked. While I was in Melbourne, twice for a total of about 1.5 months, Manny, a mate I was working with there, his fiance, Larissa and myself. I originally posted all the picture with no captions when I got home and then I emailed Manny and asked him to send me captions as I could not remember everything! What you will read is the results. Captions and conversations ala email.
